Southampton natives Alex Mountford, Sam Matlock, Louis Matlock and Sam Chappell – together known as the London-based band Dead! – are doing things their own way. They’ve created a space for themselves on the scene where rehearsal spaces offer some of the best stages, patches (attached to jackets, jeans or shirts) are gig tickets and there’s no reason not to grab for your highest-reaching dreams.
