Juicebox Live was established in the summer of 2007 and the first ‘Juicebox Indie’ gig took place in October 2007 at The Flag in Watford. Since launching Juicebox Live have promoted shows across the South East of England, London, East Anglia and East Midlands.
In 2013, Juicebox Live were invited to programme all of the original music events at The Horn, St Albans and since early 2022, the same role at Hertford Corn Exchange.
Juicebox Live have always maintained that regular grassroots music events are vital to help create a music community within a town or region. As well as providing local artists an opportunity to perform in their home region, Juicebox Live have offered both national and international touring artists the opportunity to perform in new places too.
We have been fortunate to work with thousands of bands since forming including the likes of ‘A’, The Amazons, Ash, Bastille, Bay City Rollers, The Bluetones, Carl Barat, Chrissie Hynde, Courtney Barnett, Declan McKenna, Don Broco, Fat White Family, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, The Fratellis, Friendly Fires, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Har Mar Superstar, The Hoosiers, The Hunna, Jamie Webster, Jesse Malin, Kiefer Sutherland, Lizzo, London Grammar, Mallory Knox, Milburn, The Pretty Things, Razorlight, Reverend & The Makers, The Rifles, Rival Sons, The Sherlocks, The Shires, Soft Play (Slaves), Slow Club, The Subways, The Three Degrees, Tom Grennan, Tom Meighan, Tribes, Turin Brakes, The Twang, The View, Tom Walker, Wheatus, Years & Years, Yungblud, The Zutons and lots more (check out our Spotify/Apple Music playlists!).
In 2013, Juicebox Live launched regular Artist Development Sessions, these events have featured members of the Juicebox Live team and guest speakers offering advice across different fields of expertise of best practices.
Luke Hinton (Founder of Juicebox Live) has been awarded the ‘Best Independent Promoter in the UK’ on two occasions in 2016 and 2018. Luke has also featured as a guest speaker on various music industry panels including BBC Introducing Live, ILMC, Music Venue Trust’s Venue’s Day, BIMM and Live Summit UK Music. Luke held the role of the Regional Coordinator (East England) for Music Venue Trust during the Covid Pandemic, and the Regional Representative (East Midlands and South East) for Independent Venue Week. He has been the Live Project Consultant for Music Venue Trust since 2021, and Co-Chair of the Association of Independent Promoters since 2023.
Juicebox Live have been regular guests on various radio stations including BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat, BBC Introducing, BBC 6 Music, Radio X as well as local radio stations, and made contributions to national press including NME and Kerrang!.
Juicebox Live are an official promoter for Independent Venue Week, a founding member of the Association of Independent Promoters and fully active in supporting the Music Venue Trust.
